Princess Maker 2 is an old dos game, published in 1993 by Gainax Co. Main genre of this old game is simulation. We gave this game stunning rating of 89 and you can download it for free right here. Imagine that you get in charge of life of the princess, you have to take care of her and raise her for eight years (from her 10 to ther adulthood). When I first read the description of this game, I thought that this is a game designed exclusively for girls, where you can change princess dress, play girlie games, etc. Princess Maker 2 is in fact a great simulation, where you are trying to make a perfect princess with lots of RPG and adventure elements.
You take the role of princess's father and are in charge of everything. You have to fill in the daily schedule, make sure princess is getting better in all aspects. You have a lot of options and choices you make will influence princess's life and end of the game (the game has a total of 74 possible unique endings). You can also dress the princess, buy her gifts and spoil her.

Now this game is completely different from anything I have ever played before. It is a nice and very cute game from Japan, with a very detailed manga-inspired feel to the graphics. A strong idea that has neatly been made into a game.As for the story it is all up to you. You decide everything in this game and there is an estimate of 76 endings depending on your choices throughout the game.
You are a great adventurer who aided a falling kingdom against the attacking Demon-lord! Your payment is a yearly salary from the King of 500 gold coins.
As if this was not enough the divine God himself grants you a daughter, sent from heaven itself. The child is pure of heart and will do whatever you want her to. On her 10'th birthday she is old enough to start making herself a destiny. You have different options at your disposal when you are making her monthly schedules. She can do some work and earn some cash the hard way, or you can send her to schools in order for her to make a profession.
She could be adventuring the land, or you could simply let her have a vacation. Each of these choices have several sub-options. For instance she can study the arts of Science, Poetry, Theology, Strategy, Fencing, Fighting, Magic, Protocol, Painting and/or Dance. You have so many different possibilities in this game that it will never be the same no matter how many times you play the game. The game stops when your daughter reaches the age of 18.
She is now old enough to make her own decisions, and some of these are. Surprising (to say the least!)I could go on and on about this game, from the graphics that changes in every event (you will see how your daughter changes over the course of her life), to the endless angles in which you can attack the game.
You can try to make her an adventurer like you, a real princess, a warrior, a thief, a magician. And the list just goes on and on. Remember there are numerous different endings. The game is easy to understand, and it will take you about 2 minutes to get the hang of the game. Strangely enough that is also the time you will need to get completely hooked about the game!
It is always fun to compare you daughter with someone else’s. The game is the ultimate time-killer! And it also a nice game to see if you would be a good parent;). Fantastic Game, well worth a look.Posted on: 2016-07-05 byEvery couple of years i always seem to get an urge for a play through of this game, there is something rather relaxing and surprisingly engaging in doing your best/worst to raise this girl. It has a simple interface, nice visuals for the time and some of the music is quite pleasant too. It ranges from skill management to some basic rpg mechanics, it also really rewards numerous replays by learning what works for your desired class/outcome.The game itself is easy enough to play, though finding the 'right' skills and education for your intended outcome may take a few play throughs, as mentioned above.
The menu's are easy to navigate and the UI is quite clear in explaining the pro's and cons of your actions. The low resolution can make it a little jarring at times, but if you are on here.you are probably used to this sort of thing.I have had a few people say that it feels a bit pervy and that it's like a girl grooming simulator, which is a little harsh and a little ignorant of the games content in general. Sure, you can play the nasty stepfather role and have her out working bars and scolding her every chance you get.but you can also raise her to be anything from a martial arts expert to a domestic housewife or educate her on the finer things in life too and become a great General. Detailed graphicsPosted on: 2013-10-29 byThe game has unexpectedly detailed, hand drawn graphics. I kind-of expected a 320.200 px pixellated game.
But it runs in full 'super VGA' resolution on my PC. I was pleasantly surprised that it had native input from mouse and keyboard. I could pick items from a grid, but could use the real keyboard to input text. So refreshing after taking a trip through emulators. The game has dramatic AdLib music during the intro sequence, and some nice tunes in gameplay. Music runs stable, and has no issues with my non-native soundcard.Gameplay appears to be unforgiving of bad decisions. Judging by the layout of the saved games dialog, where the name of the character is shown for each entry, I feel the authors expect the player to restart many times in order to obtain a desirable outcome. For example, at first it seems like 500 gold is enough money to get 3 rows of schooling, with each costing $30-$50, so that the character can earn more starting with the best possible skills.
This strategy doesn't work in this game, and the second attempt at class yields 0 skill, yet time is spent. At this time I restart. The patron deity is also determined by the player's choice of the birth date, but there are no clues given on how the result is computed. This leads to the person being pre-labeled, for example, to be very feminine (Venus), presumably mischievous against men, or more direct (Mars). The player can still steer the character either way, but it then feels untrue to the story. The interface seems unfinished, and one must either experiment with each button, which sometimes warrants a restart or reload from a saved state. But since the game is in English, and has fluent input from the mouse, there is little to complain about.
